Here is the first news. Bekasi administration officials embarked on Monday on a drive to clean the city of the thousands of unlicensed banner along must major roads.
Around 100 officers were out in force to take down the banners from the trees and electricity poles along Jl. Hasibuan, Jl. Ahmad Yani, Jl. Juanda, and Jl. Sudirman. They said they were abiding by Bylaw No. 44/1998 on public order.
According to the head of community policing unit, Hudoyo S. Putro, the banners were put up without administrations approval. “they could cause traffic accident if motorists try to read them”, Hudoyo said,- Antara.
